Meet the amazing Bluebell! How many lives does she have? Well, she was found wandering around in Sarasota with a blue collar and a bell. Someone dropped her off at the county shelter. VCC got a call because a microchip in her was traced back to us in 2010, but we did not have a record of ownership. The county shelter said she was aggressive and was going to be euthanized for it if we didn't pull her, so we did. Two days later, she broke with a raging upp er respiratory illness that was among the worst I've seen. She was seen by Ashton, received intensive care by me here, and within 4-5 days, she had bounced back. And guess what? She is loving and friendly. A t the county shelter s he was growling and hissy because cats don't like shelters. (Fact of life folks.) So she nearly died 3 times so far this year but now she is sweet, pretty and wants a home.
