Lucky Felix is a highly affectionate people lover who will follow his person around like a little puppy.  He is a delightful cat who would be purrfect with a single person or older couple looking for a close companion.  Lucky also like little kittens... But he seems to be scared of other adult cats and dogs.  That may be because he had a very rough time last year.  He was found near death in a drainage pipe in Port Charlotte, very badly injured by an old collar that had been placed around his neck when he was young.  He must have escaped his original home somehow, and grew bigger while the collar did not.  It began to strangle him, tear at his skin and fur and he got a leg stuck up in it, so could not walk right.  A rescuer found him and brought him to the vets at Lemon Bay Animal Hospital, who performed 3 surgeries on him to correct all the issues.  We think he is very special and "lucky".  If you are looking for a cat who does not mind being an only pet and will love you forever, Lucky Felix may be your kitty! He would also  likely do well with a little kitten.
