Gracie is a small kitten found on a roadside by a kind lady who brought her to our vet in Englewood, Lemon Bay Animal Hospital. Among her medical treatments was a blood test that showed she was FIV positive. She will be retested soon to see if the test was flawed or the virus has disappeared. If not, she would be an ideal kitten for a household that does not have other cats or already has an FIV cat. If you have read scary stories about FIV cats' health, please do your research. They are not sickly, live long lives and do not endanger other cats with infection once they have been fixed and no longer mate/fight. We have rescued and sanctuaried MANY FIV cats and know that it is safe, kind and the right thing to do. Would you like to give Gracie a chance as a loving pet in your home?
