Pasta is a nice, calm cat with thick, velvety fur. He came to our rescue from a man who claimed that 2 four-paw declaws had showed up in his yard and were sweet cats, but his wife was allergic. We took his word, and found out that the pair (likely brothers) have some fear now that their claws had been surgically eliminated. It's not their fault, but what an awful thing to do to a poor kitty!  They have taken a week to adjust to a new foster home, but are still timid. Pasta is more approachable. He purrs and likes cuddles and pets. When you are not paying attention to him, he goes to a quiet corner. He'd love to stay together with Vino, his brother, and find a loving quiet family or single person to provide him a safe place to be. Since he will never again have his natural defenses, Claws!, he needs a special home and special care not to let him outdoors. He is using his litter box appropriately, and does not hiss or show any aggressiveness. He's just been through a lot and is ready for a nicer life now.
