She is the best mother cat ever!  Zorya is famous for her role as surrogate mother in the Ms Bliss Christmas kitten episode!  Zorya had a litter of kittens and at the same time another momma cat, Ms Bliss, also had a litter.  Ms Bliss had severe complications and needed surgery to save her life.  Zorya gladly took on Ms. Bliss's litter of kittens and nursed both litters at the same time.  Both momma cats and all kittens are now doing very well.

Zorya, whose name means triple goddess of nurturing the planet, is a truly special lady.  She loves people, but is very particular about the other cats.  Her fur is very short and does not shed much.
